NMLM: OU-Tulsa Library recognized

NMLM posterIn recognition of National Medical Librarians Month, the South Central Regional office of the National Networks of Libraries of Medicine has featured five regional projects on their web site, including our library’s own Building Dynamic Partnerships in Public Health, a wiki-based initiative that was awarded and funded from the regional office last year. The Bird Health Sciences Library in Oklahoma City was also recognized for their work in community preparedness, as were our friends at the OSU-Tulsa Medical Center Library for their work with the Okmulgee Indian Health Center.

The breadth of these projects, from outreach and training to building new online portals and resources, demonstrates the potential range and flexibility of the modern medical library, and the kinds of contributions librarians make. Kudos to all our partners in the region and to our fellow awardees!
