Where do I begin searching for articles?

APlusAre you trying to find articles and you do not know where to start?

Start with the library databases!

For medical or health sciences topics, try PubMed or OVID to search Medline, the most important health sciences database in the world. Medline contains citations from over 5,000 journals in biomedical fields going back to 1950 (with a limited amount of older material).

Go go Pubmed or Ovid now through the OU-Tulsa library’s website.

For other subjects, you can begin with EBSCO’s Academic Search Premier. Academic Search Premier is a multidisciplinary database with wide coverage, containing citations from over 4600 journals in most areas of academic study. Go to Academic Search Premier through the OU-Tulsa library’s website, or through the Bizzell Library website.
