Where to begin searching?

Are you trying to find articles and you do not know where to start?

For medical or health sciences topics, try PubMed or OVID to search Medline, the most important health sciences database in the world. Medline contains citations from over 5,000 journals in biomedical fields going back to 1950 (with a limited amount of older material).

Go go Pubmed or Ovid now through the library’s databases link.

For other subjects, you can begin with EBSCO’s Academic Search Elite. Academic Search Elite is a multidisciplinary database with wide coverage, containing citations from over 3500 journals in most areas of academic study.

Go to Academic Search Elite through the OU-Tulsa library’s link, or through Bizzell Library.
